Our Story

We've loved every minute of our journey

A Family Tradition Continues

When Lillian Fatjo married John Godfrey, Godfrey Ecclesiastical Art began. And the Second Generation began their 50 plus years of restoring churches, chapels, altars, and statuary across the United States. With Studio's located in New Orleans, LA, Sarasota, FL, and Cascade and Divide, CO

Now the Third Generation continues the tradition.

Belinda Godfrey continues the tradition started by her Grandparents, Arthur and Lorena Fatjo, in the early 1900's in New Orleans, Louisiana, and carried on by her parents Lillian and John.

Why Us?

Godfrey Ecclesiastical Art is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the valuable works of art found in Catholic Churches and Chapels across the United States. We know that many of the statues, stations, and altars that are entrusted to us cannot be replaced and therefore take great pride in restoring them to their original beauty, for many more generations to appreciate and enjoy. It is a delicate balance to achieve a restoration to maintain the integrity of the original piece of art and yet to blend with the ever changing liturgy of the Catholic Church. It is a challenge but one that is very rewarding when achieved.

Godfrey Ecclesiastical Art gives every project entrusted to us our full commitment to the satisfaction of our patrons.
